OUR MISSION:

H.U.G.S. Sharon is committed to making our community safer by educating the public regarding violence in relationships and by providing assistance to victims and families affected by domestic violence.

H.U.G.S. Sharon has been making a difference in our community since 2003.   Our organization is committed to making the community safer by educating the public and by providing assistance to those affected by domestic violence.

H.U.G.S. Sharon has sponsored educational programs in the schools and in the community about domestic and dating violence. We have helped victims of this violence with financial assistance, transportation to court and to shelters, lock changes, safety training, and more.  

October 19 - Wayland residents look for answers to teen-dating violence
About 150 people gathered at the First Parish Meeting House last night for a panel discussion on teen dating and violence, a topic that residents said has haunted the community since the slaying of Lauren Astley, 18, in July, allegedly by her ex-boyfriend. Read the full article

2011 H.U.G.S. Annual Dinner held at Christina's in Foxboro. The event recognized the installation of new Officers, donors, and Scholarship Award winners.
